Hi There welcome to the Dividend Investor website and blog, i am very grateful that you have come to my website, on here i will be writing posts on making money online, investing & all things other things such as money budgeting and saving money.


THE START OF MY JOURNEY

Before we get into things properly i just want to share abit of my story and how i got to where i am now. So in 2019 i decided i wanted to achieve more in life and aim to reach financial freedom. so in march 2019 i decided to learn about investing specifically dividend investing, if you don't know dividends are basically a companies way of saying thank you for buying shares in our company here's a little reward have some of our profits. and they pay you per how many shares you own of a company so the more shares you have the more a company will pay you. so that is my first stream of income that i created although i don't use the dividends I receive to pay for my lifestyle, instead i reinvest them back into the company who pays me.


YOUTUBE CHANNEL

So shortly after i began investing in July 2019 i started putting content on YouTube going over my Freetrade Dividend portfolio giving regular updates of how the portfolio is preforming as well as other investing type video's initially as a hobby.

As the channel grew I realised you could get monetized and start earning an income once you have 1000 subscribers & 4000 watch hours. i spent the next several months aiming for this goal, and on July the 5th 2020 i was approved for monetization into the YouTube partner program meaning I could get paid off google by placing ads within my video's, i was delighted at this as my hard work was paying off, and now i had another income source.


BLOG AND WEBSITE

In September 2020 i decided to expose my self to the world even more and i decided to create this website to write posts mainly backing up my YouTube video's writing original content describing basically what's in my YouTube video's, but there is something refreshing about getting down what you've spoken in a video into words. I will also be sharing various books that I have read and have helped me so i hope they can help you too.


THE FUTURE

My plans for the future are simply invest more, earn more, and learn more and most of be able to continue to provide value to people who watch my videos / visit my website.

My goals for the next 5-10 Years are to be earning a fulltime income from my YouTube channel & my blog aswell as money from affiliate marketing & Dividend income, even though I wont be using the dividend income, i want to earn enough money to be able to put as much money as i can into the portfolio so it can grow quicker and provide me more dividend income so i can eventually use the dividends to pay for aspects for my life.

i believe in a career of choices and freedom and following you passions and being able to monetize your passions. and turn them passions into business so if thats what you like then you will love it here!
